Thad Peterson, a Monster staff writer, recently wrote an article featuring 100 Potential Interview Questions that would be a good resource for you to review prior to interviewing with an employer.

Here are questions that I found to be of particular importance to be prepared for:

  1. Who was your favorite manager and why?
  2. Why do you want this job?
  3. What’s your ideal company?
  4. Why should we hire you?
  5. How long will it take for you to make a significant contribution?
  6. What irritates you about other people, and how do you deal with it?
  7. Why are you leaving your present job?
